Aims of staff participation
Value-based orientation may not be limited to the management alone. After all, it is the entire staff that contributes towards success and added value. As a reciprocal gesture all of the employees should be given the opportunity to participate in this success. CEWE COLOR plays its part here by issuing shares for employees. We also hope to enhance employee commitment and identification with the company. A program of this kind also contributes towards promoting a culture of shareholding among the staff. This enhances our attraction as employers.
CEWE COLOR 2010 stock option plan for employees
For the fifth time now, employees in Germany have been given the opportunity to acquire shares in CEWE COLOR at special conditions. In March/April 2010 CEWE COLOR offered German staff members employee shares. Employees bear half of the costs in a personal contribution and CEWE COLOR covers the other half. Shares valuing a total of EUR 720 for each employee were available for acquisition.
We also established a stock option plan for members of top management in Germany and abroad. In the period from 12 to 23 September 2005 more than 80 managers were able to purchase up to 200,000 stock options. The stock option plan was well-received and was oversubscribed by just over 19 %, with a total of 237,500 shares being subscribed for.
199,500 options were allocated.
