History of the share of CEWE COLOR

In 1961 CEWE COLOR was founded by Senator h.c. Heinz Neumüller. In 1992 the legal structure of the corporate group was revised. This enabled CEWE COLOR Holding AG to go public.

As early as on 24 March of the following year, CEWE COLOR was listed on the German Stock Exchange as a public limited company - a step only ventured by eight other companies in 1993. DM 50-shares were issued at an issue price of DM 335.00. Today share enthusiasts can order the original 1993 share certificates free of charge from CEWE COLOR.

In 1999 CEWE COLOR was one of the first companies to be included in the new share index SDAX launched by the German Stock Exchange. This listing was a mark of quality for the security, since stringent quality standards have to be met in order to be listed.

On 2 August 1999 a share split of 1:10 was implemented, making CEWE COLOR an attractive investment for a larger number of investors. Soon after this, the share price was rounded off at € 2.60 when the DM was replaced by the euro.

CEWE COLOR was accepted in the Prime Standard for consumer shares when the system of stock exchange listing was restructured in March 2003. The company is also listed on the SDAX share index.
