The name CEWE COLOR stands for both innovation and continuity. Steady, manageable growth and consistently high profits and dividends are what distinguish us.

In order to achieve a high degree of efficiency and outstanding product quality, we use state-of-the-art production machines, some of which we have developed ourselves. In the 2008 business year alone, CEWE COLOR invested more than 33 million euros in innovative technologies and services.

Our 13 production plants throughout Europe all operate the same IT system, which also guarantees that our 50,000 retail partners receive the same service. Just over 50 high-quality four-colour digital printers in our labs not only ensure that our CEWE PHOTO BOOKS can be produced in the best quality and in ever-shortening delivery times - with this large number of machines, unmatched in Europe, we also have sufficient capacities to enable us to offer digital prints for commercial applications in future.

As Europe's leading European photofinisher we developed and sold more than 2.6 billion photos and more than 2.6 million CEWE PHOTO BOOKS and photo gifts in 2008. Around 2,700 employees in our 13 production plants do their utmost day after day to constantly do justice to the confidence placed in our company by our retail partners and customers.

And they do this well: out of 280 entries, CEWE COLOR has been voted one of the three finalists in the "Digital Printing Company of the Year" category of the 2009 Druck&Medien Award. The 21 jury members, headed by Druck&Medien editor Imke Laurinat, will be announcing the winners at a jubilee gala in Berlin on 29 October.
