Preamble

The CEWE COLOR Group conducts its business traditionally in compliance with national and international law and generally recognised ethical principles. We wish to illustrate our corporate culture, which is characterised by integrity, trustworthiness and responsibility, in this Mission Statement.

Our conception of the CEWE COLOR Group

The CEWE COLOR Group is Europe's leading photo service company and technological leader in industrial photofinishing. We aim to maintain this top position and expand it. We intend to achieve this exclusively with performance, honesty and the proper execution of business activities. Our dealings focus on customer orientation, the quality of our products, high innovative strength and the good reputation of our corporate group, which is a significant basis for our capacity to compete successfully.
As a company, the CEWE COLOR Group currently conducts its activities with responsibility, strategic prudence and in awareness of costs - and it will continue to do so. It is important for the Group to convince the market with qualified employees and high-quality products. This includes consistent loyalty among our employees, who also bear responsibility in their private life.
Each employee makes a fundamental contribution here. We are committed to a fair working environment; our employees are our most important capital.

Entrepreneurial spirit and management approach

Our corporate culture embodies partnership and respect for individuals. Well-informed, motivated employees who identify with the company and its basic values are a guarantee of quality, efficiency, innovation and growth. Our cooperative management approach is based on mutual trust, respect for every individual and the principle of delegating responsibility. Our Group shows a clear will to retain employees. The management, superiors and employees believe that combining a career and family life is worth pursuing. We offer our employees a great deal of freedom; within the scope of their responsibilities they participate in decision-making processes and in the economic success of the company. The companies in our Group are headed by directors and persons in responsibility who think and act entrepreneurially. They are very independent and bear extensive responsibility. In line with this, we expect our employees to identify with the aims of the company and to show loyalty towards the interests of the company as a whole.

Business partners and competition

Relationships with our business partners are characterised by trust and fairness and are based on honesty and reliability. We are a reliable partner and expect valid laws and regulations to be observed in all aspects of business. This is why we do not tolerate any conduct that questions our integrity or puts it at risk.
We are committed to fair competition and focus on innovative quality and performance here. We refuse to enter into any unlawful agreements or sham offers. It is hence not our intention to procure orders by granting or offering unauthorised benefits.

Social responsibility

For our partners, ownership of property is also an obligation towards society. They consider the presence of the company in the market economy to be legitimated by the fact that it makes contributions to society. Our corporate group and its employees respect law and order. Their conduct in the company and outside it is always responsible and they are guided by ethical principles. These principles are notably honesty, integrity, loyalty, fairness, tolerance and sincerity. We are particularly committed to protecting our employees and the environment and we do justice to this by ensuring sustainability. This includes the social responsibility borne by the company and its compliance with the highest ethical standards. This is also made clear by the fact that we strictly reject products produced with the help of child labour.

Obligation

Our business principles are subject to a consistent process of critical review and development. We expect all our employees to align their approach towards these aims and basic values and to act accordingly at all times.  Managers bear particular responsibility and act as role models here.
